Dementia Frailty

Frailty is a common and important geriatric syndrome defined by age-related changes and biology of ageing. Regular physical activity helps to improve physical and cognitive functions as well as reverse some effects of chronic or progressive conditions.

Join us for the 6th instalment of our Wellness series with Senior Physiotherapist, Nicole Lu, as she addresses the impact of physical frailty in older adults, and navigates through frailty management and physical activity for older adults with dementia.

Nicole is a Senior Physiotherapist registered with the Allied Health Professions Council. She graduated from the University of Bradford (UK) with honours and worked in varied settings, including public and private hospitals, and private clinics across Singapore. Nicole previously held an adjunct lecturer role at Temasek Polytechnic teaching a module of the Specialist Diploma (SD) in Gerontology.

At Allium Care Suites, Nicole plays an important role in developing and fulfilling our residents’ full functional capability to improve their quality of life through therapy.

Send in your questions before the session and the first 5 registrants will receive a gift.
