Singapore, renowned for its high living standards, faces a growing need to address the well-being of its aging population, with projections indicating 23.8% of citizens aged 65 and above by 2030. Chalene Goh, our Allied Health Coordinator and Principal Occupational Therapist, addresses the challenges of an ageing population, with a focus on the importance of quality of life (QoL) for older adults. Chalene highlights holistic QoL aspects: tailored exercise, social connectivity, lifelong learning, and technology integration, emphasizing societal commitment for a fulfilling later life.
