Moving You to Better Health

Join us for the 2nd instalment of our Wellness series with our Senior Physiotherapist, Marcus Tow. Falls in the elderly can impact physical and psychological health due to loss of autonomy and confidence. The elder may develop a fear of falling which could lead to social withdrawal. Fall prevention is an important consideration to improve the quality of life for fall-prone elders and helps put caregivers at ease.

Marcus Tow is a licensed Physiotherapist with the Allied Health Professions Council and has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours jointly awarded by the Singapore Institute of Technology and Trinity College Dublin. He has worked in many different settings and provides quality physiotherapy services in a variety of areas such as neuro-rehabilitation, geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopaedics, palliative care and dementia care. Marcus is also a certified trainer for the Stepping On Falls Prevention Programme.
